Words cannot express how honored and happy I am to have my first Huffington Post blog go live.  I am so grateful to my mother, about whom it is written.  Mama, you taught me to use my voice creatively and unabashedly.  It’s because of you I am the #humanist, #activist & #advocate I am today and have a #ThroatChakrawithNoOffSwitch.

Please enjoy the post which meets at the intersection of #popculture and #gaypride.  As always,  comments are much appreciated (leave here and on the Huff Post page too!)  I love to hear why stories like this resonate with those who take the time to read, share and most importantly, care.

You can definitely see your skills within the article you write.

The arena hopes for even more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to say how they believe.
    Always go after your heart.

Thank you. I think the arena we ALL belong to – that of being a spiritual being having a human experience – requires that each of us shares our passions and pride.
